A photographer who tamed the power of the flame!

The beginner photographer Danila Tkachenko found an unusual way to show his talent. For the sake of a beautiful frame, he decided to burn the abandoned houses in Russian villages and shoot this process on camera.

He, of course, succeeded by becoming the nominee of the Kandinsky Prize, the award of contemporary Russian artists, and also becoming the winner of the World Press Photo award.
