Ebang plans to produce at least 400,000 new miners in this year

Chinese mining company Ebang, which controls 9.2% of the global cryptocurrency mining equipment market, plans to produce at least 400,000 new devices in this year. According to the company’s financial report, Ebang sold about 159,000 units of equipment in 2017 and about 309,000 units in the first half of last year. The total number of miners sold for the entire 2018 is unknown, but the company claims a significant decrease in profits in the third quarter of last year. These data are comparable to those of other mining companies, which also experienced the effects of a “cryptocurrency winter”.
