Found the cause of the rapid development of cancer
November 13, 2022
Scientists have discovered a gene called NSD2, which is responsible for the development of prostate cancer. According to Medical Xpress, the gene was found in mice. At the same time, scientists from Rutgers University in New Jersey were able to “turn off” NSD2, thereby slowing down the rapid development of the tumor.
Now experts are trying to establish how it is possible in the early stages to detect and block this gene. Indeed, even with the early diagnosis of cancer, it is almost impossible to predict the dynamics of tumor development.
