Scientists have found a gene that spreads cancer cells

Researchers at the American School of Medical Sciences Rutgers discovered a specific gene in malignant tumors of the prostate gland that increases the risk of cancer spreading in the body. “Experts have identified the NSD2 gene using a computer algorithm.
“Scientists conducted an experiment on mice,“ disabling ”this gene and thereby reducing the spread of the tumor.“ Although the algorithm used in the study focused on prostate cancer, it can also be used to study other types of cancer in order to quickly understand how can be used for people, ”says the research leader, associate professor at the Rutgers School of Medical Sciences, and research fellow at the New Jersey Cancer Institute Antonina Mitrofanova.
