Before going on a trip, many Western tourists buy special insurance, which is called travel insurance. Such insurance covers, among other things, losses during the trip. And some insurance claims clearly deserve your attention.

1. One pensioner who went on a cruise on the Bay of Biscay was clearly not ready for seasickness. Crouching over the rail to give freedom to the gag reflex, the old man suddenly lost his false teeth. The insurance company paid for new ones.
2. The couple who went on a hike through the forests of Wales are not very lucky. On their tent, which stood in an open field, landed a paratrooper from an air base that is located very close. The tent was completely destroyed, but the insurance company refused to pay damages, citing the fact that their specific insurance did not cover the accidents.
3. Imagine – you are going to a ski resort. Buy yourself new fancy skis. Come to the place – and there is no snow. This is exactly what happened to one unlucky gentleman, who demanded that the insurance company refund to him the full price of new skis, which he was never able to try out. But all he received was a refusal on the company’s letterhead.
