The young driver lost his license the day he bought it

In the Austrian town of Halle, a 17-year-old boy was deprived of his driver’s license within an hour after their solemn presentation. Happy Leonard Giese and his buddies were driving around the city after successfully completing their driving tests.

But suddenly they were stopped by a police patrol. It turned out that Leonard was driving with a large speed limit. Police officers are sure that he deliberately exceeded the speed limit because he wanted to surprise his friends with his driving skills. “Nothing lasts forever under the moon, and so does your driver’s license,” the police joked when they wrote out the protocol. The young man will get his new document back if he retakes the practical driving test and pays a fine of 250 euros. In addition, the probation period can be up to three years.
